League of Legends: Worlds 2019 Group Draw Results

The 2019 League of Legends World Championship is drawing closer by the day. 24 teams stand at the helm, ready to battle for their region and for glory. But before these teams take to the stage, there is one last thing to take care of. This is the group draw.

There are two stages to the World Championship. The first is Play-Ins, where emerging regions and lower-seeded major region teams battle for a spot in the main event. Here, the teams must play through a best-of-one double round-robin to move onto the Play-Ins Knockout Stage, where teams will play in best-of-threes to claim a spot in the Main Event. At this point, the best of the best will also play through another best-of-one double round-robin to make it out of their respective groups. Today, the groups for these weeks of the competition were revealed and the excitement is surely building even more!
