Death Prophet

Death Prophet is a carry hero who can push lanes and mitigate buildings with ease. Many players choose her for the ability to nuke enemy heroes during fights and silence enemy units or drain their health with her spells. 

The ranged hero has a base HP of 620 and a base mana pool of 363. She has base stats of 24 Intelligence, 21 Strength, and 16 Agility. Smart and swift, Death Prophet gains 3.3 Intelligence per level and she has a base movement speed of 285 and base armor of 3.7. 

Crypt Swarm is a spell that Death Prophet can cast to deal 300 damage to multiple enemy units. It has a cast range of 810. The latest changes made to the Death Prophet in the 7.32 b update reduced the mana cost of Crypt Swarm from 125 to 110. Crypt Swarm has a cooldown of 5 seconds and can be further reduced to 3 seconds by unlocking the upgrade in the Talent Tree at level 15. 

You can cast Silence on enemies to prevent them from using spells. Silence can be a lifesaver for your team during battle. Death Prophet can silence all enemy units in a 425 radius for up to 6 seconds with her abilities. It has a cooldown of 12 seconds and consumes 110 mana per cast. 

The ranged hero can use Spirit Siphon to drain 100 HP per second for up to 6 seconds. It needs 80 mana to be cast in the game. You can increase the damage dealt by Spirit Siphon by 30 through the Talent Tree. Spirit Siphon will also slow the movement speed of your enemies by 20% at level 20. You can upgrade Spirit Siphon using an Aghanim’s Shard to gain an additional charge and cause enemies to be feared for 1.5 seconds. 

Exorcism, Death Prophet's ulti ability, can be used to deal damage to creeps, neutrals, ancient creeps, Roshan, enemy heroes, and buildings in the game. Death Prophet can summon up to 24 spirits for 35 seconds. She can also gain movement speed passively by using Exorcism. It has a cooldown of 150 seconds and needs 400 mana to be used. You can increase the number of spirits summoned by Exorcism to 32 at level 25.

Try a Rod of Atos for Death Prophet's kit to hold your enemies in place. Rod of Atos costs 2750 gold in the game. It provides 24 Intelligence, 12 Strength, and 12 Agility to its users. Rod of Atos also allows Death Prophet to use Cripple, an active ability that roots the target for 2 seconds. Cripple has a cooldown of 18 seconds and consumes 50 mana. Shadow Fiend gains 3.5 Agility per level and has a base movement speed of 305 and base armor of 4.3. 

The carry hero can nuke spells within seconds to decimate opponents in battle. Shadow Fiend can cast Shadowraze to deal 300 damage in 3 instances for a total of 900 damage. Each instance of Shadowraze that is cast on the enemy will stack bonus damage. It will also reduce the movement speed and turn rate of enemy units. Shadowraze has a cooldown of 10 seconds and consumes 90 mana to be used in the game.

Shadowraze can be improved as you level up. The Talent Tree lets you add 25 damage per stack at level 10. You can increase the damage dealt per instance of Shadowraze by 100 at level 15. Reaching level 25 will allow you to decrease the cooldown of Shadowraze by 5 seconds. You can also deal the attack damage of Shadow Fiend as damage per instance of Shadowraze at level 25. 

Necromastery is a passive ability that lets Shadow Fiend collect souls with each kill. Creeps, neutrals, and enemy heroes killed by Shadow Fiend can add up to 4 damage per soul. You can collect a maximum of 20 souls with Necromastery. The damage added per soul can be increased by 3 at level 20 through the Talent Tree. 

Presence of the Dark Lord reduces the armor of enemy units by 7. The aura of Presence of the Dark Lord affects all enemy units within 1200 radius. It can also be made to affect buildings at level 15.

Requiem of Souls, Shadow Fiend's ultimate, can be used to wipe out enemy heroes in an instant. It deals 160 damage per soul and inflicts fear onto enemies for 2.7 seconds after being cast. Requiem of Souls has a cooldown of 100 seconds and a mana cost of 200. 

Assault Cuirass can be used to pierce the armor of your opponents. You can buy Assault Cuirass for 5125 gold. It provides 30 attack speed and 10 armor to its users. Shadow Fiend can gain Assault Aura by equipping Assault Cuirass. Assault Aura reduces the armor of enemies and increases the armor of allies by 5. It also provides 30 bonus attack speed to allies in a 1200 radius. 

Daedalus is an integral item for Shadow Fiend's kit. The carry hero can deal critical damage with the item. The souls collected by Shadow Fiend from killing creeps and heroes will add to the damage on landing a critical strike on your enemies. Daedalus provides 88 attack damage to its users. It also gives its users a 30% chance to deal 225% critical damage. 

Viper

Viper is a carry hero who can use poison attacks to stifle his enemies. He has a base HP of 620 and a base mana pool of 279. The ranged hero has base stats of 21 Agility, 21 Strength, and 17 Intelligence. He gains 2.7 Agility per level. Viper has a base movement speed of 275 and a base armor of 1.5. 

Poison Attack is an ability that enables Viper to deal up to 16 damage per second for 4 seconds to his opponents. Each hit slows the movement speed of his enemies by 12% and reduces their magic resistance by 10%. It can be stacked up to 5 times and needs 24 mana per attack. 

Nethertoxin can be used in a 400 radius to deal up to 125 damage per second. It can last for 8 seconds, has a cooldown of 14 seconds, and consumes 85 mana. Corrosive Skin is a passive ability that decreases the attack speed and magic resistance of enemy units that attack it.

His ultimate, Viper Strike, deals 160 damage per second for 5 seconds to enemies. You can reduce the attack speed and movement speed of enemies by 80% by using Viper Strike. It has a cooldown of 30 seconds and consumes 200 mana. 

You can equip Manta Style to increase the attack speed and movement speed of Viper. Manta Style will also let you use Mirror Image to create 2 images of Viper that deal 28% of the ranged hero’s damage to your enemies. It costs 4600 gold in the game. 

Radiance is also a useful item for Viper. It can add 60 attack damage and increase your evasion by 15%.
