CoD: Best Class Setups For The MP5 In Black Ops Cold War

The MP5 returns and once again, it is one of the best weapons in the game.
Players coming from Modern Warfare or Warzone will be extremely familiar with the MP5. As one of the best weapons from last year's game, it returns once again and it doesn't seem to have lost its place in the weapon rankings. Unlocked from the start, the MP5 is one of the first weapons you’re likely to use in Black Ops Cold War. And once you pick it up, you might not want to put it down. Here’s our favorite class, along with the class of the 2020 Call of Duty League MVP Shotzzy.

ESTNN’s Class
We like to run a version of the MP5 which has increased speed. With Black Ops Cold War being a fast-paced game, this is crucial to winning those unexpected gunfights. Increasing the sprint out and aiming speed, you can rush into objectives and know that you’ll be able to aim in and snap with ease. For our favorite class, you’ll want to use the following attachments:
- Infantry Compensator (Muzzle
- 9.1” Rifled Barrel (Barrel)
- Foregrip (Underbarrel)
- Speed Tape (Handle)
- No Stock (Stock)
Using these attachments turns the MP5 into an even better weapon, increasing its all-around speed. This class doesn’t require the Gunfighter wildcard as we like to run six perks which requires a different wildcard to do so.

Shotzzy’s Class
The 2020 MVP likes to use a slightly different class, sacrificing speed and aiming speed for better accuracy and a higher effective damage range. Yet again, this class does not require the Gunfighter wildcard as he opts to use perk geed also. For Shotzzy’s class, you’ll want to use the following attachments:
- 9.5” Reinforced Heavy Barrel (Barrel)
- Swat 5MW Laser Sight (Body)
- Foregrip (Underbarrel)
- Field Tape (Handle)
- No Stock (Stock)
The MP5 continues to be one of the most dominant weapons in Call of Duty. In order to succeed in Black Ops Cold War, it's a weapon you’ll want to be using, and these classes can help you use it to the best of its ability.
